VISUAL ARTS COMPLEX

The CU Visual Arts Complex is a 180,000-square-foot creative hub housing art studios, classrooms, offices, an auditorium, and a world-class art museum.

Design decisions throughout the building thoughtfully balanced functional requirements with aesthetic considerations. With its unique needs, the Art Museum features lighting, HVAC systems, materials, and finishes selected per museum-grade standards that support the institution's inspiring mission.

Upon completion, the Visual Arts Complex achieved LEED Gold certification.

Creative and project responsibilities:

  • Programming and research of existing museum assets

  • Development of custom finishes and millwork
