AFROTECH™ is an annual conference with a mission to connect and uplift Black professionals in the technology industry. Each year, thousands of attendees gather for a 4-day experience featuring industry-leading tech companies, brands, and consulting organizations.

PwC has maintained a premier recruiting presence at the event for several years, sponsoring a custom-branded booth designed for one-on-one candidate engagement. The booth's strategic layout creates a welcoming candidate journey – from an initial greeting at the Welcome desk, to multimedia content displays, and an interactive AI art-making experience.

IMPACT

Brand Recognition: The design theme and graphics were developed to be consistent with other Talent Acquisition (TA) recruiting events. This strategy ensured a coherent visual identity across events.

Sustainability & Cost Savings: The common design language used for all deliverables in this segment of the TA portfolio allowed the team to reuse materials for the majority of booth elements, reducing cost and minimizing single-use assets.

Innovation: Decreased budget spend on standard deliverables allowed for the design and production of custom structural elements to enhance the booth environment. AFROTECH™ featured purpose-built conversation desks and LED lanterns, anchored by planters with living greenery.
